Though yoga practice temporarily unplugs us from the world and its distractions, it is not about withdrawing from reality. In this class we’ll explore how to use yoga as a gentle, powerful tool to build our stamina to stay present for the challenges in the world around us, together. 


Come to Yoga For Connection to connect with yourself, each other, and the world around us!


Each week we’ll take the first portion of class to get grounded in our bodies through slow flow yoga asana (postures), then move into embodied journaling, with optional share out/ conversation about topics centering the idea of bringing your yoga “off the mat”, topics include: The yamas & niyamas, spiritual bypassing, interdependence, social justice, befriending our experience, sacred anger & softness, pleasure, joy & grief, yoga history, and more!

What do I need to bring?

Wear an outfit that you feel free to move in, your journal, and an open mind!


HUSTLE AND FLOW® POLICIES:

  • Pre-registration required.
  • 6 hour cancelation policy for regular classes, 6 hour cancelation policy for Pole classes.
  • If class is canceled your account will be credited.
  • Clean sneakers in studio
  • Classes are 18+
